Meanwhile, in Finland

Finland is a country of extremeties when it comes to weather. Last winter we had quite enough snow. And now, when I look at the ten day forecast, I’m starting to believe that the mysterious productivity of the Finnish people grows from these extremeties. There just doesn’t seem to be a proper weather to spend time outside, so one has to put his mind at work to invent new ways to spend time indoors.

Link or it doesn't exist

Today I was suggested to try a band named Wolf. They are supposed to be something refreshing and new to listen to. Instead, I ended up watching and listening to this horrifyingly… horrifying video by Shava featuring King G. Just because someone linked to it. I’m sure I would’ve enjoyed Wolf more, but it’s the way of today – link or it doesn’t exist.

Still haven’t tried Wolf.

All these things we couldn't live without

Besides the obvious bunch like Twitter, Facebook, Google, Youtube, Flickr and friends, I've recently been acquainted to such new fellas as Foursquare, Flowdock, MySites, LiveMesh, Gowalla and Sofanatics. Whatever made us go through life without dying of boredom in the ancient times - say like 4 years ago?

Fair play: stage builders thrown out before AC/DC gig

I just heard about a ridiculous event that took place in Tampere, Finland yesterday. The legendary AC/DC performed there and, as usual, the stage was built up by a bunch of volunteers. Between building up and dismantling the stage, they are allowed to watch the gig. What better way to see your favorites play if you don’t have the money to go otherwise?

This time it just didn’t go as planned. 50 of the volunteered workers were thrown out of the place before/during the show. I would consider twice before working for these organizers from now on.

Trying out Posterous while having a Prodigy (oldschool) evening. And for starters I didn't notice the title field at first :)
